Another year is almost upon us. And I'm older. Being so disassociated with reality, it can be a shock when reality comes back and I realize the whole being older thing. It's not bad though, just different. I'm glad it's different though. Life would be pretty dull if it didn't switch up at least sometimes.

I got a tripod for christmas, so I've been playing with that the past couple days. It reminded me that I should take pictures. After all, I spent all that money on the camera, I'd be stupid to waste it.

So I went to Omaha (and Michelle, that's in Nebraska) because it's like, 3 hours away, driving along the Missouri River for the most part. There wasn't much there, except this one place downtown call Old Market, which is a pretty cool place.

All in all, the only place worth going to in this part of the midwest would be Kansas City...except, I'm already there.

While I have a great deal of respect and sympathy for those dealing with relatively inactive friends or "friends" who don't actually watch you, these Are you a Fake Friend? (or whatever the title is) journals are not the solution.

This is for all those people on the list that aren't paying any attention to you. By claiming that only those who are your "true friends" will repost it, you're at the same alienating those who do watch. I watch two people who have posted this and I've seen it elsewhere. And when I say I watch them, I mean I read the journals, look at their art, etc.

I haven't posted it because it's not the way to go about a cause. Yes, you two, I am a true friend (if you're a true friend of mine, you'll read this and know that I am you're friend).

What does it matter if they don't really watch you? You know who does by who comments and fav's your stuff. What more do you need?

I need to go on, like, a second vacation. I almost already did, but I think I know what I'm gonna do. Just a general road trip in awhile. So that'll be good, I hope.

I have 5k pv's now, which is kinda cool. I just watched season 1 and 2 of heroes, which is fucking amazing. I love it, and now I'm ready for season 3. A couple things in my life that were dragging me down are right again, so yay, I guess.

School is taking me forever! Crap. I guess that's life. I haven't tried as hard as I should, but I won't make that mistake again. I've been fairly productive with my writing, exploring various genres and whatnot. Still learning, as I imagine I will be for a long time.

My drain was clogged for like, 4 days. That sucked pretty hardcore. I finally have it fixed (after calling the apartment people about 10 times).
